IRULE #7 DO SOMETHING PHYSICAL YOU LIKE TO DO

The key to a creating a healthy lifestyle is doing things you like to do. Life gives us so many real obligations during each day we must “recreate or reboot” our own interests and joys in life. The best physical exercise for you is the one you like and want to do. John Travolta taught me this lesson when we first began training together for “Staying Alive.”

John likes physical activities that make him think, move and ones that he enjoys doing! He likes the element of competition and of course he loves to dance! His father was a football coach who, at one time, even worked with Vince Lombardi, so John likes sports of all kinds. In “Pulp Fiction” the dance scene is truly “John Travolta.” He launched the social scene in the 70’s and continues to show us how fun and in vogue dance is, especially when you move with a purpose. When you enjoy what you’re doing, you want to do it. A good coach is one who helps you find yourself in the movement, not trying to force the movement on you.
